Imagine putting AOC in charge…
Picture this, a Republican congressman helps put AOC in charge of the Crime Committee. Then puts her in charge of environmental policy too.
It would end a career overnight.
But in Austin, Briscoe Cain did the Texas version of exactly that.

Exhibit A: The Crime Committee
Cain voted to let a defund-the-police activist chair the committee that writes Texas crime law.
In the Texas House, Briscoe Cain voted to let a Democrat who opposed law enforcement chair the Texas House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence.
That’s not a Republican move. That’s not even a moderate move. That’s unthinkable.

Exhibit B: Oil & Gas
Cain voted to put a tree-hugging leftist over oil and gas.
Texas runs on oil and gas. Hundreds of thousands of jobs. Billions in tax revenue. The backbone of the state economy.
Briscoe Cain voted to let a Democrat with a record of opposing the industry lead the Texas House Committee on Natural Resources — a leftist with a gavel that touches the industry that built Texas.
